One Week. My DM Finds.

I feel fragrances from the DM get underestimated. These are all things you can walk in and pick up today.

Monday — La Rive Elegant Woman EDP

This one has BR540 DNA. Saffron, jasmine, a touch of fir resin in the drydown. Warm, sweet, slightly powdery. For under €7 for 100ml, it is genuinely impressive.

Tuesday — Esprit Rise & Shine EDP

Fruity and bright from the start — grapefruit, strawberry, pineapple, mandarin. It settles into something softer with jasmine and peony. A very wearable, happy scent.

Wednesday — La Rive Aqua Woman EDT + Tesori d’Oriente Ayurveda EDT

La Rive Aqua is clean and fresh, a green aquatic. Tesori Ayurveda brings warmth underneath — citrus on top, patchouli and amber in the base. Together they balance each other really nicely.

Thursday — La Rive Isabel EDP

Warm and grounding. Vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver. The kind of fragrance that just wraps around you quietly and stays.

Friday — House of Théom Heaven’s Reserve EDP

Rich and gourmand. Plum, walnut and cinnamon open it up, then cognac, rum and tobacco come through in the heart. It dries down to tonka bean and bourbon vanilla. This is a proper evening fragrance.

Saturday — Câline Vanille No. 25 EDP + Tesori d’Oriente Hammam EDT

Câline Vanille No. 25 is a Kayali Vanilla 28 dupe that people in Germany are genuinely excited about right now. Creamy, warm vanilla with caramel and tonka. Layer it with Tesori Hammam — mandarin, orange blossom and amber — and the combination is really something.

Sunday — La Rive Miss Dream EDP

A Carolina Herrera Good Girl inspired scent. Black currant, jasmine, vanilla and tonka bean. Sweet, milky, creamy. Sunday feels exactly like this.

Everything here is from DM.

Proof that the drugstore shelf deserves more credit than it gets.
